- Interview with Django Unchained director Quentin Tarantino – And then I met Jamie and realized I didn’t need to do that. Jamie understood the material. But mostly he was the cowboy. Forget the fact that he has his own horse—and that is actually his horse in the movie. He’s from Texas; he understands. We sat there talking, and I realized, Wow, if this were the 1960s and I was casting a Django Western TV show and they had black guys as stars of those in the 1960s, I could see Jamie on one of those. And that’s what I was looking for, a Clint Eastwood.

- What's it like to work as a screenwriter on the 4th season of a TV show – There we were, the first week with almost all new humans, kicking about Leverage ideas. Downey and I were originally concerned going into the new year with a mostly new staff. What we hadn't anticipated (but should've) was the difference between staffing a show that does not exist, and one that has aired 44 episodes — the writers knew the character voices, some of them were actual fans of the show. They came in with the Leverage stories they wanted to tell, as opposed to cool con stories we then hammered into Leverage stories. (Jenn Kao, as you'll see, actually wound up writing her first pitch idea, the one-liner that got her hired.)

VHS-aikakaudella leffojen takakansien kuvaukset olivat monasti melkoisen korkealentoista kamaa, mutta valitettavasti dvd-julkaisijat ovat paljon vaisumpia. Yksi nousee kuitenkin ylitse muiden, nimittäin Future Filmin versio Dead Ringersistä.

Taitavasti monistettu Jeremy Irons esittää identtisiä sekoavia gynekologikaksosia ja Genevieve Bujold naista, jolla on kolmihaarainen kohtu. Erikoinen, kiehtova elokuva, jonka kammottavuus riippuu katsojan sukupuolesta. Punaisena hehkuvan leikkaussalin mutanttinaisille kehitetyt gynekologiset instrumentit ovat todellista kauhua, ainakin naisille. Mantlen verinen tragedia perustuu tositapaukseen, mutta elokuvan skitsofreenin logiikka on suoraan painajaisista…
Viimeinen virke on aikamoista lössyttelyä, mutta muuten loistavuustaso on poikkeuksellisen korkealla.
